It "only" took me 6 months, but I've done it! I've archived all my works, both here on Dreamwidth (

miyas_library) and up on SquidgeWorld Archive, as mirrors to my AO3.

In the process, I've found a couple of things I hadn't uploaded on AO3, and even one or two I had apparently never posted anywhere, or at least anywhere I could find them. Some series of oneshots I've ended up posting as single, multi-chaptered fics instead, hence the difference in works numbers between AO3 and SWA.

Now that that's done, let's look at some stats for fun!!

After, er, a "small" break in my archiving efforts, I've finally finished the Teen Wolf portion which, while not as massive as the Supernatural one, was still quite something.

I figured I'd share a few fun numbers with you:

I have written (or translated) 27 Teen Wolf fics between July 2012 and July 2023, including a crossover
That's 119'829 words total, which is only about 40k less than Supernatural for 3 times less fics
That's an average of 4438 words by fic (over twice the length average of my SPN fics)
16 of these fics were written in 2012, 6 in 2013, 1 in 2014, 2015 and 2019 and 2 this year
19 of these fics are Sterek
Only 2 fics don't feature Stiles and only 2 fics don't feature Derek but 0 fic features neither of them
The longest fic is 18,313 words and was written in 2012
The shortest fic is 100 words and was written in 2023

Early Teen Wolf fandom was so much fun, and I still miss it, as shown by the fact I keep coming back to it.

I'm nearly done with this thing. Hopefully I can wrap it up before the end of the year.

I'm making progress on my archiving! I've finally finished the Supernatural portion, which was massive in the sheer number of entries alone.

I figured I'd share a few fun numbers with you:

I have written (or translated) 75 SPN fics, all between August 2009 and July 2011
That's 159'587 words total, for an average of 2127 per fic (but only 31 are actually above 1k)
In 2010 alone, I wrote 64 of those fics
I have 3 unrelated SPN fics at 577 words

Honestly I hadn't realized I was only active in that fandom for two years? I thought it was more?

I only have 9 fandoms left to archive, which if I'm not mistaken should total 42 fics. Over half of these are Teen Wolf, but that's still less daunting than the SPN portion.

You know what? Archiving stuff... takes time. It takes so much time you guys.

Fortunately I've mostly figured out ways to not have to fight Dreamwidth too much when it comes to formating, but it's still a bit of a chore. I'm going through my works alphabetically by fandom (though I might end up changing my masterlist around to have them by publish date instead when I'm done, we'll see), and I just finished archiving my Merlin fics, which brings me to something around 77 works if I still know how to count. Given that, according to AO3, I have 78 fics for Supernatural alone, yeah, I'm nowhere near done.

It doesn't help that I've decided to also crosspost everything on SquidgeWold Archive, which is basically a smaller AO3 (uses AO3's open-souce coding, basically the same terms and services aside from their strong "no AI-generated works" stance, way less fics).

Fun thing about this whole endeavor is how it made me realize there are definitely years when I wrote a lot more than others. I might do some stats when I'm done, just to see. Can't really go to AO3 for that because I didn't bother backdating when I archived most of my older stuffs there, so the posting dates aren't exactly accurate.

Anyways, still a lot of work to do on that front. It's amazing how much I've written in 20 years.

So AO3 is down. I have no doubt that they’ll get through this current attack, even if the down time is lasting much longer than I think I’ve seen before. But still, I had been thinking for a while that it wouldn’t be bad to have a separate archive of my works, just in case.

I’ll start working on it when I get home, but that’s going to take some time. Don’t worry, I’m not going to flood your reading page with old fic, I’ll be posting on a private community and I’ll share that link once I’m done.

There’s only a small handful of my old fandom friends who follow me here, but I hope you’re all doing well! It’s been a long time since the days of LJ, and I’ve missed it a lot. Those of you who actually use this platform, is there any blog or community you think I should follow?
